Going thru old photo albums tonight with Momma and My Awesome Friend Ashley.. and found some pics of when I was a baby... Actually of the day I was born...
* please note how my fingers are positioned.. guess I was a bit grumpy that day....
Since I leave Tomorrow to head back East.. Tony and I did a mini Christmas celebration tonight.. Little Fisher got some great gifts from Gramma Phyllis! We got spoiled. Thanks oh so very much! We love you!
So Little Fisher got her first package in the mail addressed to her! We opened up this adorable and so super soft gift and we couldn't find a note .. so we do not know who gave us this awesomely awesome gift! So if you are the lovely gift giver please step forward so we can give you a proper thanks! In the MooTime.. Thank you Thank you Thank you! We love it!
Well... we think it is pretty obvious that I am pregnant by now. The belly bump continues to grow daily.. as does Little Fisher. She is up to 1.5 lbs by now and will start packing on the baby fat more and more.. Tomorrow I go to the Doctors for a glucose test.. which means fasting until 10 am tomorrow.. Wish me luck.. Our doctor will also take measurements and make sure Lil Fisher is growing at the right rate..
And then Thursday I am off to Massachusetts for the Holidays! Little Fisher will be celebrated on Saturday at a baby shower hosted by Diane Busse and Barbara Tierney.. I am so excited! See you guys soon... Happy Holidays to all!
Tonight's meal was Curried chickpeas and Tofu.. We had a side of sauteed spinach with garlic ( as this has been my favorite thing to eat to date) A yummy meal full of fiber!
Tony and I decided to give a shared Christmas gift to each other this year, and it came a little early. We picked it up this morning and are so very excited! Its a Canon 40D, digital SLR camera and we are sooo looking forward to taking lots of fun baby pics with this cam! Here is a pic of the baby bump today! And some pics of our lil pups too!
We hope that you all have a very Happy Thanksgiving! We wanted to make sure we took a pic before the turkey and stuffing is added to this belly! Hah Hah! Happy Thanksgiving!
Today we went on a great little hike in Malibu.. Auntie Em gave me (Lil Fisher) some kisses too! Momma is slowing down a bit on her hikes.. but she still loves going!
Our good friends Heather and Bob have graciously shared many of their used baby items with us. Today I brought home a playmat and baby tub from them. Dasher sniffed it and made himself right at home. He has about 4 dog beds in the house... he's gotta learn that this one is just for Lil Fisher...
We just returned to California after a wonderful trip to Ann Arbor, Michigan to see Tony's mom and Nanny. We missed the 19 and 20 week comparison photo so here is a candid of me today at
In the bottom pic her arm is covering her face! She is saying woo Hoo! Dad thinks she looks like Moe the Bartender from the Simpsons and is anxious to get her in the gym to work out those bony arms!!
I am really enjoying my new cookbook! The other night was a yummy meal of steamed couscous with asparagus, basil, tomatoes, corn and feta cheese! Delicious!
Lil Fisher gained two ounces since last week...Momma Fisher.. more like 2 lbs, hah hah! Head to rump, your baby is about 5 1/2 inches long (about the length of a bell pepper) and he weighs almost 7 ounces. He's busy flexing his arms and legs — movements that you'll start noticing more and more in the weeks ahead. His blood vessels are visible through his thin skin, and his ears are now in their final position, although they're still standing out from his head a bit. A protective covering of myelin is beginning to form around his nerves, a process that will continue for a year after he's born.
The other day we received the great news that all of our pre-admission forms were accepted and they are expecting us around March 30, 2010. Birthplace at Santa Monica UCLA Medical Center!
Found a great deal on craigslist for a glider and we went out and got it! We also ordered the nursery furniture! We are getting excited for Lil' Fisher!
Tony was a wonderful and supportive husband this morning and stood in line with me
for over an hour. The line was long and the News was there on the ground and in helicopters covering the story. We were about half way thru the line when we got the news that they had run out of the preservative free shots for pregnant woman. So away we went.
We went to doctor today but she was unable to tell if its a boy or a girl. So it looks like we have to wait until the November 10th appointment for that exciting news. But the great news from today is that we listened to the heartbeat and it was beating strong and fast, and we were able to do an ultrasound and get a quick glimpse of Lil' Fisher. Our doctor said that everything looks and sounds perfect.
